Mercedes W460/W461 Front Axle Race Ring.

Mercedes G-Class Front axle shaft race ring.

This steel race is pressed onto an axle shaft and works in conjunction with the axle tube seal to prevent gear oil entering from differential housing and contaminating the axle housing.
Due to wear, the axle tube seals have significantly worn away a considerable portion of the axle shaft race, creating a groove. Replacing only the seals will not stop the leak.

  This part will fit all Mercedes G-Class W460 from the year 1981 to the year 1990(230GE, 240GD, 250GD, 280GE, 300GD) up to axle 7023946.

This part will fit all Mercedes W461 military vehicles from 1987 to 1995(230GE, 240GD,300GD, 250GD Wolf, 290GD)
