The reverse light switch for the Mercedes G-Class was installed in earlier W460 and W461 models with 4 or 5-speed manual transmission.

This part will fit Mercedes W460 vehicles 230G, 230GE,  240GD,  and 300GD (1979-1985) 4 or 5-speed manual transmission.

  This part will fit all Mercedes Military vehicles W461 240GD, 300GD (198971989) 4or 5-speed manual transmission
